Your standard double room, complete with breakfast daily, will be your home from May 4th to 8th, offering both comfort and convenience.

In the late afternoon, prepare for an immersive experience as your private guide takes you on a 3-hour city tour of Santiago de Compostela. During the tour, you’ll explore the captivating streets of this UNESCO World Heritage city, learning about its rich history, architectural treasures, and cultural significance. You’ll visit the iconic Cathedral of Santiago, where you’ll marvel at its awe-inspiring Romanesque and Baroque features. Your first stop is Ramón do Casar Winery, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the vineyards and
cellars, followed by a wine tasting of their exquisite wines, showcasing the best of Ribeiro’s indigenous grape varieties.

    Participants should be in good physical condition as some activities require moderate walking. If you have mobility restrictions or need special accommodations, please inform us in advance. There will be extended standing and walking over uneven pavement. An average walking tour is about 2-3 hours without sitting.
  • Insurance
    Comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events, is highly recommended. If you require travel insurance, we’re happy to provide a quote.
  • Amenities
    Please keep in mind that air conditioning in Spain, as well as WIFI connection, are not always as available or reliable as they are in the United States.
  • Room Variations
    The hotel staff assigns rooms to guests, some rooms may include stairs. A view is not guaranteed. As we work mainly with small upscale boutique hotels, rooms can differ in size and layout. Please contact us if you have specific requests/needs.
  • Tips
    Even though tips to staff and restaurants are included, it is suggested that you put aside approximately $100 in combined gratuities for your driver & local guide for your trip.

In May, Santiago de Compostela, Spain experiences relatively mild and pleasant weather, with teperatures fluctuating between 54-68°F. It’s a transitional period, with the possibility of both sunny and rainy days.

Due to the uneven terrain of the wineries, comfortable walking shoes are advised.

Evenings and early mornings will be quite cool, so pack a light jacket or sweater.
